Cold and wet, wet, wet.  Thank God.

Historic Fine Gold Creek is a raging torrent and even our own seasonal rivulet in front of the winery is running broadly.

The breath taking colors of last November have fallen to the ground to return their nutrients to the soil in
our no-till Fait Accompli Vineyard.

Skeletal cane silhouettes still reaching skyward will soon join the precipitated foliage as we begin to pre-prune each vine according to its stature.  This special vineyard has been very good to us and we must always return the favor.

Our 2009 harvest was textbook for which, coming off the severe frost damage of 2008, we are truly thankful.

We are also thankful for the continuum of new and old friends we have enjoyed over the past twelve years.    Ray and Tammy
New Wine Old Label
In 1978 we introduced the first Farview Farm Vineyard wine, a crisp and totally dry Blanc de Noir pressed from Zinfandel grapes
grown in Templeton, California.  Yes, thirty years ago a serious dry white Zinfandel.

For 2010 we are reprising the original Farview Farm Vineyard label to showcase our newest wine creation, 2009 Point Blanc, a white Rhone style blend.

Point Blanc
was co-fermented in European oak barrels using the excellent Marsanne, Roussanne, Viognier and Grenache Noir from the ten year old Love Ranch located in the Coarsegold, California foothills.  It readily displays expressions of spice, wet stones and a herbal perfume with bright lingering flavors and a slightly brazen countenance.

Farview Farm Vineyard Point Blanc is scheduled for a May, 01, 2010 release and only 96 six-bottle cases will be available.

Pre-Release price is $90 per six-pack before May 1
and $120 thereafter.
