“Ray Krause's '07 Petite Sirah is most nearly perfect wine I have tasted in a long time. Amazingly youthful in its fruit at this stage, we can expect it to last and improve for decades. Its massive dense tannins are incredibly fine and feminine, and extensive lees contact has given them a plush fatness which makes the wine satisfyingly drinkable even at this undeveloped stage. Bravo!”
Clark Smith, winemaker and scientist
We have just been informed by the awards committee that our Petite Sirah 2007 John Simpson Vines has been awarded a Gold Medal in the highly competitive Premium Price class from the prestigeous Orange County Fair Wine Competition this month. We, and the folks who have kindly depleted over half of our inventory
so far think this may be the best Petite Sirah we have produced. Your price is still only $22 including tax.

Point Blanc Evaporates......
Bad news and good. Our initial release of 2009 Point Blanc, a dry co-fermented in barrel field blend of Viognier, Marsanne, Roussanne and Grenache Noir (blanc) is history. Poof !
The good news is that we held a two barrel reserve (Lot II) of Point Blanc to be bottled soon.
Reserve yours now at $120 per 6 pack case.
